Robin’s Roots |
Robin's expertise evolved over years of working with varied and diverse constituencies. She began her career
as an Air Force attorney, where she prosecuted criminal cases, then served as a legal advisor to the Air Force Surgeon General's
Professional Consultants' Division. After returning to Pennsylvania with her family, Robin served as in-house counsel for two
entities before she was recruited to become the legal counsel for Hahnemann Hospital.
At Hahnemann, a 750-bed tertiary care nonprofit healthcare organization and medical school in Philadelphia, Robin was responsible
for the oversight and coordination of legal functions from 1994-1997. In this role, she served as lead counsel on numerous major
mergers and acquisitions and real estate deals, as well as counseling the hospital's senior management staff on a wide variety of
issues. As a result of her efforts, Robin achieved national recognition in medical staff matters, and was the author of a West publication on that topic for ten years.
A native of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Robin received her B.A. degree, with High Distinction, from Indiana University, Bloomington,
Indiana, in journalism, with a minor in business administration. She earned her J.D. degree from University of Pittsburgh School of
Law, and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. |
